Visit Anaconda on Saturday, November 15 for the best wine tasting event of the year! While here, get your holiday gift and beverage shopping done in one day! This is a very special holiday wine tasting that has been very thoughtfully curated for our guests. It is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a fun outing, try before you buy, and save!
There is so much for demand for this tasting that we have divided it into two sessions to accommodate more people and allow everyone to have a little more elbow room. :) Join us from 4pm - 6:30pm, or from 6:30pm - 9pm. For $35 guests will receive a Bighorn tasting glass and they get to taste through 20 wines that we recommend you consider for your upcoming holiday feasts. We've broken those 20 wines into 4 categories. As you wander throughout The Bighorn and sip on fabulous wines, we will tell you which we recommend having on hand for these four pairings/purposes:
- Starter / Intermezzo Wines. You'll need these on hand for when you are keeping things light and easy, welcoming guests, cooking, etc..
- Turkey Wine. Pair these wines with your turkey dinner.
- Prime rib. Pair these wines with your prime rib dinner.
- Crowd Pleaser Wines. No matter what guests choose to eat or what they prefer, these wines win in a crowd again and again.
As you wander, take notes on your tasting card and pick out your favorites. Our full food and beverage menu will be available form behind the bar. We will have many of the wines on hand that guests can pack up and take home. If we run low on something you loved, you can pre-order them and we will have them available for pick up within the next 1.5 weeks.
Tickets will be sold for $35 if purchased in advance. $40 if purchased at the door. Once guests receive their wine tasting glass, they will be welcome to wander around and visit the various tasting tables set up throughout The Bighorn. Taste at your leisure and come and go as you please within your ticketed time frame.
NEED GIFTS? There will also be a holiday gift section to the event as well. While tasting, wander to the back banquet tables and look through all of our recommended holiday gifts and stocking stuffers. The section will be packed full of gifts for every age group and personality! You're also welcome to visit us earlier in the day to shop this section if you prefer. Our doors open at 11am on Saturday, November 9 and our gifts section will be set up and ready for visitors.
