This month's show will feature upwards of 18 open-stage performers, our Resident Host - AND BIRTHDAY DIVA: Killah Croc & their Children: Desdemonic and Mic Check!
Anyone who will be 18 or older on the day of the show is welcome to signup to perform! 18-20 Year Olds & Debuts are automatically accepted (room permitting), and BIPOC and People with Disabilities are given priority. Follow @GnAster_Presents on Instagram for more info!

*What's the Deal With "Pay What You Can" Tickets?
As an 18+ Sober Space, R!SK has a much higher production cost than shows at other local venues like Jacques, The Midway, or The Model, which can charge producers little to nothing to use the space as they make all of their money from alcohol sales. Rather than trying to make up for this by requiring all audience members to pay a higher ticket price (making R!SK inaccessible to the many of us who are unemployed and/or underpaid), we trust that, given the opportunity, folks will "pay what they can" - more than $20 if they can, less if they cant - and hope that it averages out to approx. $20 per person.
Even at the bottom of The Foundry's sliding scale, we currently need to make almost $275 in ticket sales just to cover costs; and over $1,000 to pay a full crew a fair(ish) wage, before we are able to supplement our LARGE cast of open-stagers' tips with door profits (this almost never happens). SOOOO, If you are able to spend more than $20 to help ensure R!SK can continue offering a sliding scale it is much appreciated! If you cannot, NO WORRIES! We need YOU even more than we need your money, are happy to offer tickets for as low as $10 for those who cannot afford more.
