Are you or your spouse navigating life with a diagnosis of dementia? This course is designed for couples to identify and cultivate mindful practices that support resilience in the face of the shifting landscape of life with cognitive change. Throughout the 10 weeks, participants will explore the impact of mindfulness-based practices on self-identity and identity as a couple. We will focus on self-compassion, mindful communication, negotiating risk and developing practices to enhance joy and humor. This course is appropriate for people with all levels of meditation practice.

This course was designed in collaboration with three couples experiencing the impacts of cognitive changes and with the generous support of Traci Hodes, PHD., through a partnership with The Copper Beech Institute.
