Join the Early Inn and Ippy's Restaurant, The Rocky Mount Burger Company, and Buddys BBQ VA for a one-of-a-kind Smoke Master event!
We have four local chefs competing for the Smoke Master title and celebrating Moonshine Heritage month right here in the heart of downtown Rocky Mount, VA! Come out and receive a tasting from each chef and pick your favorite!
Live music by Five Dollar Shake, Breaking the Chain, and Chad Nickell & The Loose Chain will start at 1 pm.
A celebrity judging by :
- Carl Cline, Vice President of Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital
- Bernice Cobbs, Superintendent of Franklin County Public Schools
- Angie McGhee, a well-known and loved real estate agent here in Franklin County.
- Alice Smith, Insurance Lady of the Year with Holley Insurance
- Chris Prillaman, Owner & Head Distiller of Twin Creeks Distillery
will begin at 3 pm!
Purchase your ticket for this event and come support the amazing talent that we have in our small town! There will also be local vendors set up during the event!
This BBQ Cookoff is benefiting the Virginia Sparrows 10U Softball team. To help these girls raise money for uniforms, equipment, and tournaments. We are honored to help these young ladies raise money to help these girls learn the dedication and love of travel fastpitch softball. The Virginia Sparrows will be selling 50/50 tickets and raffling off some really neat items during the event such as a Blackstone Grill!
