Welcome to the 1st Annual Highlandtown Olympic Games!  Like our slightly better known sister competition, we tie our games back to ancient Greek sport.

Newly discovered, unpublished chapters of The Iliad describe high stakes matches of Cornhole and Football Toss between Achiles and Paris of Troy.  Achilles actually hurt his foot playing Beer Pong, decided to call it a day, and eventually settled down to open an Irish Pub on the smoking ruins of Troy later.  Also not taught in school are the drinking games Odysseus had to win on his 10 year journey home after the Trojan War - Beer Relays against mermaids and Badminton against a cyclops, to name a few.  This is the stuff your teachers didn't want you to know about - but we at Old Line and Monument City are here to celebrate history with you!

So grab three buddies with a steady hand and a thirst for historical competition!  4 person teams will compete in 3 games at Old Line Spirits and 3 games at Monument City, with a closing awards ceremony at Monument City.  All participants will receive discounted drinks pricing at both locations.

Here are the games:

Old Line Spirits
Cornhole
Badminton
Ring Toss

Monument City Brewing
Beer Relay
Football Toss
Spikeball

The opening ceremony is at 1pm at Old Line Spirits where teams will be assigned a competition schedule.  Time will be allocated for travel between the two locations and walking is both easy and recommended.  The closing ceremony will be at Monument City at 7pm.
