Join us on Monday, 11 July 2022 to meet ten innovative small businesses from across the country who are HUBZone certified.  All Federal government agencies have a goal of awarding at least 3% of their contracting dollars each year to HUBZone companies.  This event is intended to introduce you to some highly qualified HUBZone companies that may be great partners for you!

HUBZone is a Small Business Administration (SBA) program for small businesses that operate and employ people in Historically Under-utilized Business Zones. The HUBZone Program's mission is to promote job growth, capital investment, and economic development in historically underutilized business zones, referred to as HUBZones, by providing contracting assistance to small businesses located in these economically distressed communities.

 

The Central Florida Tech Grove is a hub for accelerating collaboration and innovation in defense modeling, simulation, training, and human performance.  Established through a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) and the University of Central Florida Research Foundation.  Tech Grove is also supported by five other government members: US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), US Air Force Agency for Modeling & Simulation (AFAMS), US Marine Corps Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS), US Army Simulation & Training Technology Center (STTC), and the US Army Futures Command Synthetic Training Environment Cross-Functional Team (STE CFT).  Tech Grove is located in the Central Florida Research Park in Orlando, Florida which is the anchor of the nation's largest cluster of government, industry, and academic organizations developing and delivering training and simulation products for our warfighters.

Tech Grove was established in 2020 through a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) and the University of Central Florida Research Foundation.  Eight other Department of Defense entities are Tech Grove members: US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), US Air Force Agency for Modeling & Simulation (AFAMS), US Marine Corps Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS), US Army Simulation & Training Technology Center (STTC), US Army Futures Command Synthetic Training Environment Cross-Functional Team (STE CFT), Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL), Defense Health Agency (DHA), and the Office of Naval Research through the NavalX Central Florida Tech Bridge.
