We will also have live music nightly, interactive demonstrations, forays, chef’s food tastings, dancing, art, DJ’s, and more…join us!
Tickets to the event do not include lodging, but guess what?! You can stay with us at the park for the whole event and we have several lodging options!
So what about lodging?
This is a camp-style festival. To get the most out of your experience, we recommend you come to stay in the park with us for the whole time.
We will have events scheduled throughout each day but there will be experiences that are not scheduled that you can experience by camping.
Here we go!
1)Rent a campsite with Water/Elecrtic & Bathhouses for up to 8, max 2 vehicles, and camp with your friends. Each campsite has water and electricity and bathhouses with heat/ac and hot water. $300 per campsite/8 people. Plan your Theme Camp Ideas and Bring a bike to check out all the camps. These sites are RV Compatible! Tent Camping or Hammock Camping Works here too!

Campsites with Bathhouses, Water & Electric Hookups
2) (SOLD OUT) Stay at Persol Group Camp - This is a group camp comprised of rustic cabin-like rooms that each sleep 4. Think Summer Camp Lodging. Persol has heat and AC and also have bathhouses with hot water. You can rent a whole room at Persol or you can just rent a bed and you will be paired up with others, hostel style. $100 per person for 5 nights in a shared room of 4 people. $250 for the whole room with 4 beds.

Persol Group Camp
3) Primitive Camp - this is the real deal camping. You get a patch of grass in a designated area and can park your vehicle nearby. Pack everything you need in and take everything out when you go. No water, no electricity. $50 per vehicle for all 4 nights. This type of camping does not have access to water and electricity but will have porta-potties.
4)Become a sponsor or educator and stay with us. Message us for more details on this option.

This festival is part of the growing movements of sustainability, healthy cooking and legalization of all plant food and medicine. The public is calling for more local farms, organic foods, humanely raised meats, and natural medicine to combat our modern health epidemics. Our goal is to teach you all about the wild and wonderful world of mushrooms.

We take a lot of pride in what we provide. All the food and forays we offer are within our area, specifically highlighting foods and fungi that grow in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas. As well, most of our leaders and lecturers are from these areas - everything has a local connection.

What kind of music? We have Southern Rock, Blues, Singer-Songwriter, Electronic DJ's, Funk, Soul & Jam, with musicians from all over our region.
We have live music every evening and Memphis House Mafia presents MMF Forest Rave Saturday, May 28, from 7-10 with late night ambient beats till midnight. This was our most popular event last year and this year we have some surprise performers in store for you. Flow and fire arts are welcome during the forest rave.

Cooking Classes & Chef Tastings
Come watch local Chef's prepare farm to table dishes right in front of you and taste the finished product. Our Chef's will also share their recipes.
Forays, Mushroom Identification, Tree and Wildlife Exploration
Come hike with our naturalist who will help with identification. You will be shocked at how much edible plants and fungi grow in this area. Check out our Mushroom ID Tent with local mycology experts to help you ID your finds.
Take a birds of prey tour, a pontoon boat tour, or a kayak tour with us and learn about the local habitat.

The Piersol Group Camp at Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park is located on 25-acre Piersol Lake. This group camp can accommodate up to 140 people. Each room has heat and A/C and 4 beds. You will need to bring all linens and towels with you. Group Camp has group bathrooms and hot showers. You can choose to rent a whole room for 4 people of you can rent a single bed and you will be paired with 3 other campers, similar to Hostel style sleeping. $100 for a bed in a shared room $250 for an entire room with 4 twin beds. Hot showers, power, ac/heat, indoor bathrooms. Campsites with Water/Electric and Bathhouses The park campground has 49 campsites, each equipped with table, grill, electrical and water hookups. A modern bathhouse provides hot showers. There is a dump station for self-contained trailer rigs. Campsites allow up to 8 people, and 2 vehicles. $300 for all 4 nights Looking for the most affordable option? We have Primitive Car Camping for $50 per vehicle. The Primitive camping will be in a grassy field with port a potties nearby. There are no showers tho on the $50 Primitive Car Camp Option. You can pitch your camp right next to your car and commune with other campers.
