The festival will feature the “Battle of the Badges” celebrity all-star softball game featuring pro athletes along with members of the Medford & Central Point Police Department.   All proceeds from this special event will go to support youth programs at Impact Athletics & the ROC Recovery Center.

Festival begins Saturday at 10am with a Kids Family Fun Carnival Zone which includes a shooting gallery, face painting, free giveaways, raffle prize drawings and food.

The festival will also feature a “on the field” celebrity skills interaction for kids ages 8 to 18 from 12pm to 2:30pm (tickets and reservation needed).

“The purpose of this event is to celebrate the fact that ‘freedom from addiction’ is possible and to bring mental health, addiction, and suicide awareness to the forefront in our community” stated Doug Gould, Executive Director for the ROC Recovery Center. “Currently Oregon ranks in the top 10 for alcohol and drug abuse among our youth.  Our desire behind this event is to carry the message of hope to the youth and families within our community."
