Four times a year, the James Renwick Alliance brings notable American craft artists from around the country to Washington DC for the Distinguished Artist Series, weekend events which include a Saturday Workshop and Sunday lecture. Since 1992, our visiting artists have demonstrated and discussed their unique techniques and presented public artist talks about their influences and careers. In 2015, the James Renwick Alliance began partnering with American University at the Katzen Arts Center to present the Sunday lectures.
