Description

At the heart of companionship is a single superpower.

Harness your relationship superpower by joining Dr. Kelly Flanagan and his wife for a restful, inspirational, and transformational weekend at Lincoln Way: A Destination Inn, a modern yet rustically designed get-away in the heart of the Midwest. Together, we will identify the single superpower at the heart of every companionship, explore what prevents us from tapping into it, help you harness it, and send you home with a simple and actionable focus that will transform every relationship in which you practice it.

Who

Dr. Kelly Flanagan is an author, speaker, personal growth and relationship coach, and licensed clinical psychologist. He blogs regularly at drkellyflanagan.com, his writing has been featured in Reader's Digest and the Huffington Post, and he has appeared on the TODAY Show with his daughter. Kelly is the author of two non-fiction books, Loveable: Embracing What Is Truest About You, So You Can Truly Embrace Your Life and True Companions: A Book for Everyone About the Relationships That See Us Through. Both books debuted as the #1 New Release in Interpersonal Relations on Amazon. His first novel, The Unhiding of Elijah Campbell, was released in 2022, was a #1 New Release on Amazon, made the ECPA bestseller list, and won the Gold Medal for General Fiction in the 2023 Illumination Book Awards. Kelly is married to another clinical psychologist named Kelly, and they have three children who are nineteen, fifteen, and thirteen years-old.

Where

Lincoln Way: A Destination Inn is an eco-friendly getaway in the heart of the Midwest. It pays tribute to its turn of the century roots with a modern, yet rustically elegant touch and offers a destination experience engaging guests in the sights, sounds and tastes of the prairie countryside. The Lincoln Way is a 90-minute drive west of Chicago; a drive with time for entering into the peacefulness of the Inn. This retreat doubles as an opportunity to visit Dr. Kelly's hometown of Dixon, Illinois, which was the inspiration for the town of Bradford's Ferry in his novel. Dixon is also the birthplace of Ronald Reagan, John Deer Tractor, and the Walgreen's corporation, so opportunities for sight-seeing abound!

What others are saying about Kelly Flanagan retreats:

“Kelly has found his own way to repackage the consistent stream of wisdom from the mystics and saints that have been overlooked and forgotten. His work in LOVEABLE was not only a gift to me and my wife, but it also has provided language, light, and clarity to so many within my tribe across the country. We had the chance to host Kelly for a weekend retreat at our home and everyone left lighter and brighter and with a desire to carry compassion and empathy into their lives, families, and workplaces. —Ashton Gustafson, Host of the Good / True / & Beautiful Podcast and the 2018 Loveable Retreat Weekend

Dr. Kelly Flanagan is one of the kindest human beings I've ever met.  His ability to connect quickly, collaborate consciously, and create exponential results in his work is truly world-class. Not only has he brought value to our events and our community, he has brought out the best in me and my team along the way.  Jeremy Reisig (a.k.a., brotha James), Master Facilitator and Pop Rock Musician

As the leader of a large mastermind organization, I’ve hired Dr. Kelly to work with our groups on several occasions. He had a tremendous impact at a three day intensive couples retreat, and he’s helped highly successful (and stubborn) entrepreneurs create success in business and at home by discovering the power of vulnerability and awareness over just being smart and capable leaders. I am excited for Dr. Kelly’s next book and I can’t wait to dive in together with my wife. —Mike McCarthy, Regional Owner Keller Williams Greater PA Region, Co-founder GoBundance and Fambundance

After reading Loveable, I knew we needed Kelly to present at our Front Row Dads retreat. His teachings are both profound and palatable. He hit a home-run. —Jon Vroman, Founder Front Row Dads, Author of The Front Row Factor

Kelly Flanagan made fans of us with his wisdom, wit, and unfailing desire to help us see the very best in ourselves and in each other. It makes learning and evolving so much more rewarding (not to mention fun) when you're led by a trustworthy, compassionate and wise mentor like Kelly.   —Donna & Gary Urban, Founders, 4U Ranch
