Cullipher Farm Market 2023 Strawberry Field Trip Information: Cullipher Farm has 6 ½ acres of Upick strawberries from mid-April through May available for field trips
Nicole Topping, our Director of Education leading the program, has her Master in Education degree. There will also be other Cullipher staff available to assist depending on the size of the group, including Kim Cullipher who holds her Master In Education and has over 35 years of experience in elementary public schools system.
Areas that participants rotate through: 1) UPick Strawberries: each child will receive a 1 pound container to pick fresh strawberries from our fields which the student takes home; 2) Lesson on growing strawberries, the life cycle of the strawberry plant along with fun facts about strawberries and one of our farm animals; and 3) Wagon ride around our 250 acre working farm of orchards, crops, cattle and vineyard
Available amenities to groups visiting the farm: 1) A one acre fenced in play area; 2) 10 picnic tables available for use for snacks or lunches; and 3) Two enclosed bathrooms (both 8X8) and outside portable toilets which are cleaned twice weekly.
Prices: $8.50 per student. Payment by local check, cash or credit card is expected at the end of the visit based on the actual number of children attending unless prior arrangements are made. Please email or submit a tax exemption certificate for the school visiting before or during visit. Receipts will be emailed or mailed upon request within 24 hours of the visit.
Teachers, Teacher Assistants and Bus Drivers: Free to include 1 Pound of Strawberries. Additional strawberries may be picked and purchased at the market separately. The ratio for including the Teachers and Teacher Assistants as free is one (1) for every five (5) students in 2nd grade or lower and one (1) for every ten (10) students in 3rd grade or above.
