Sisters Overcoming and Winning (SOW) is hosting its Annual Sisters Symposium in Towson, Maryland.  

This two-day event is a women's empowerment and improvement conference that fosters Christian sisterhood by networking, fellowship, honoring one another, affirmations, interactive activities, engagement, and RHEMA word to mobilize us to SOAR!  

We encourage, evolve, endeavor, encounter, and experience a move of GOD and authentic love- as sisters! 

2023 is SOW's 5th year as an organized sisterhood. This sistership has blessed the masses, so we shall honor this GIFT from God accordingly. We plan to celebrate grandly!!!

• For Colored Girls who SOAR! A "Color Party" our way! We're underscoring the color of your character, NOT hue, and skin tone! After registering, you will receive an email and color assignment with additional details.
• Chick Chat Summit w/ the SOW admins. Bring the topics, an open mind, ask the questions, and the admins will share candid perspectives.
• EmpowHERment Mic Toss!!! Be encouraged to SOAR with power!

• Wellness and Worship Walk! Let's focus on our temples' mental and physical wellness at the top of the day!
• Good Grief! How to WIN while losing!
• Prayer Banner! Pin your anonymous petitions to the banner, then believe heaven's response on your behalf.
• Sneaker Ball!! Our awards ceremony, speaker of the evening, and catered dinner. The attire is gold and black formal/evening wear with sneakers- so you can dance the night away with our D.J. on the ones and twos!

Please NOTE: Registration/Check-in attire on Friday, 4/21- WE ARE BILLBOARDS as we arrive!!! Rock apparel for your ministry, business, or favorite organization! We are taking pictures of you as you arrive. The images will advertise the symposium and... YOUR "BILLBOARD."

Color Party Attire @4pm:

If your FIRST name begins with the letters, A-F, wear RED on Friday.

If your FIRST name begins with letters, G-L, wear ORANGE on Friday.

If your FIRST name begins with the letters, M-S, wear PURPLE on Friday.

If your FIRST name begins with the letters T-Z, wear WHITE on Friday.

Color Party Rule: Each Sister must bring one gift/token of the same color you're wearing.

Saturday Morning Attire:

Wear comfortable SOW gear!!! Shirts are available for purchase at the venue.

Sneaker Ball Attire:

Wear evening wear and a pair of sneakers

Other surprises are locked and loaded throughout the weekend. 

Gentlemen are invited to join us for the Sneaker Ball on Saturday evening, so - bring your better half or an essential male in your life to enjoy the festivities! A separate registration is required for all male attendees. There's limited space, so don'tThere's wait until the last minute to register your escort.
