Baltimore Renaissance Jazz

Dear Music Lovers,

Jazz is the heart and soul of Baltimore. Baltimore has produced by birth or by training some of the most creative, risk-taking and talented musicians of this century. Names like Billie Holliday, Chick Webb, Eubie Blake, Cab Calloway, and so many others comprise over a century of impressive talent.

The Baltimore Renaissance Jazz Festival will look back at those greats in addition to looking forward through adjudication to young players today who are producing the grade.
