2024: Math Bridge Courses

Description

These are virtual classes for students to do independently.  Students should talk to their counselors to see if eligible.  

Course descriptions:

Bridge to AP Calculus AB

Students who would like to take AP Calculus AB in the fall and have completed pre-calculus with at least a 95% both semesters are eligible to take this course. This is an online, self-paced course. Students must successfully complete the Bridge to Calculus course in order to enroll in AP Calculus AB in the fall.

 Approval from Dr. Cozean is required to participate in the course.

Bridge to Precalculus

This course is designed to strengthen algebra skills for students who took academic algebra who would like to progress to Precalculus Honors or Math SL IB in the fall.

Bridge to Precalculus is offered as an independent study course. Students will need to successfully complete the course prior to enrolling in Precalculus Honors or Math SL IB in the fall.

Bridge to AP Computer Science

This is an online, self-paced course designed as an option for students who have not taken Introduction to Programming and would like to take AP Computer Science in the fall.

Students must receive approval from Dr. Cozean to participate.
