We’d like to invite all of our homeowners to get involved with Western Carolina and support the Cats during their football season this year! Not only is WCU football a fun way to be a part of the community at large, it’s a great way to connect with fellow homeowners. Last year, our tailgates were widely attended and highly regarded by our homeowners as one of their favorite events of the year.
In the spirit of community, we invite you to be a part of our Potluck style tailgates. Each tailgate we’ll provide the shuttle, tables, grill, as well as hotdogs and hamburgers for the number of signups we have. We also invite participants to bring your own favorite tailgate dishes from home. Tailgates will be BYOB.
We’ll also provide your ticket to the game for those that sign up ahead of time through Simple Tix. These are regular seating tickets and do not provide access to Paws Porch or the Catamount Corner. 2024 WCU Football Schedule and Tailgate times
September 7th - WCU vs Campell - White out (Wear your white!) - Game starts at 1:00pm. Tailgate starts at 11:00am. Shuttle leaves Greeters Cottage at 10:15am. Shuttle to return to Greeters Cottage around 5:30pm.
October 5th - WCU vs Wofford - Family Day - Game starts at 2:30pm. Tailgate starts at 11:30am. Shuttle leaves Greeters Cottage at 10:45am. Shuttle to return to Greeters Cottage around 7pm.
October 12th - WCU vs The Citadel - Heroes Day (Military Appreciation Day) - Game starts at 2:30pm. Tailgate starts at 11:30am. Shuttle leaves Greeters Cottage at 10:45am. Shuttle to return to Greeters Cottage will leave around 7pm.
November 2nd - WCU vs Chattanooga - Homecoming - Game starts at 2:30pm. Tailgate starts at 11:30am. Shuttle leaves Greeters Cottage at 10:45am. Shuttle to return to Greeters Cottage will leave around 7pm.
November 16th - WCU vs VMI - Senior Day/Hall of Fame Day - Game starts at 1:00pm. Tailgate starts at 11:00am. Shuttle leaves Greeters Cottage at 10:15am. Shuttle to return to Greeters Cottage around 5:30pm.
