Join us for the 4th annual BCSD Student Film Festival! The combined screening of middle and high school student films will be held on Monday May 19th 2025 at The Beacon Movie Theater at 445 Main Street. The show starts at 7:00 pm. Doors open at 6:15 pm.
Film genres span everything from drama, comedy, suspense and mystery, to stop motion animation, and documentary. Each short film is approximately 2 minutes, so you'll get the chance to see many great stories and different types of films. We are so impressed by the students' creative and technical savvy - you won't believe your eyes!
The Beacon Movie Theater will be selling concessions, and we'll have film festival merchandise, a raffle and a red carpet photo booth area in the lobby. NEW THIS YEAR! We'll be doing filmmaker interviews and snacks in the Green Room for our student filmmakers Proceeds raised from this event go directly to the Foundation for Beacon Schools' fund for teacher grants and enrichment programming in Beacon's public schools.
