DRESS ATTIRE:
Marines:
- Officers. Officers attending the ceremony shall wear either the Evening Dress or the Dress Blue “A” uniform. Officers participating in the “Ceremonial Honor Escort” will wear Dress Blue “A” with gloves, the Mameluke Sword and Sam Browne belt. Following the ceremony, Officers may change into the Evening Dress, if they desire.
- Enlisted. All enlisted Marines in the grade of E-5 and below attending the ceremony will wear Dress Blue “A”. Staff Non-Commissioned Officers may wear either the Evening Dress or the Dress Blue “A.” Enlisted Marines participating in the “Ceremonial Honor Escort” will wear Dress Blue “A” with the Non-Commissioned Officer sword, cover, and gloves. Following the ceremony, Staff Non-Commissioned Officers may change into the Evening Dress, if they desire.
- Females. Female service members are authorized either slacks or skirt.
Navy. Sailors assigned to the battalion will wear “Dress Blues” uniform.
Covers. The Hyatt does not have a coat check. The Commanding Officer has authorized Marines who are not a part of the ceremony to walk from their vehicle or lodging to the venue without their covers.
Other Services. Appropriate formal dress uniform.
Civilian Guests. Attire for male civilian guests is either formal attire (black tie), or semi formal (suit and tie). Attire for female civilian guest is formal or semi-formal evening wear.
Unit leaders will brief Marines and Sailors on appropriate formal dress attire for their guests. Guests wearing inappropriate attire will be asked to change or leave.
AGE LIMIT: Children 13 years of age and older are authorized to attend the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. It is expected that children that do attend can preserve the integrity of the ceremony and that the parents are cognizant of their children’s conduct and whereabouts at all times.
TICKET PRICES: All ranks: Presale tickets are $85.00 if purchased before September 15 2025. Tickets purchased after will be at the full price of $100.00.
REFUNDS: Request for Refund must be submitted via email; approved by your chain of command and sent to Sergeant Major Allen with justification and then processed by the Ball Committe Treasurer. Cut-off date for refunds is 1 November 2025.
TICKET SALES: Ball Tickets will be on sale starting Saturday, 9 August 2025 at the link provided until Friday, 31 October, 2025.

BALL MEMENTO: This year's memento will be sold separately from the ball tickets. Ball gifts will be distributed the week following the Event. For guests outside of the Command, purchased gifts will be available for pickup at the Event.
