Join the Shine Music Bridge Chamber Music Academy!

 

We are delighted to invite young musicians to participate in the Shine Music Bridge Chamber Music Academy for the 2026–2027 season.

Throughout the season, Academy chamber groups will share music with community organizations, including retirement communities, orphanages, homeless shelters, and other underserved communities. This outreach opportunity will provide a meaningful and rewarding experience for young musicians while allowing them to use their musical talents to bring joy and encouragement to others.

Application Deadline: August 28, 2026    Application Fee :$80                

  • Submit video recording(s) of one or two pieces that demonstrate your highest level of musical achievement, uploaded to YouTube (unlisted) or other similar easily accessible video sharing websites. 

  • We are looking for participants who have taken lessons over a year. We will form ensemble groups with similar age and performance levels.

    Saturday, May 1, 2027, at 10:30 a.m.
    Presented with the Concordia Chamber Ensemble groups
    Zhang Orchestra Hall, Concordia University Irvine

  • Spring Community Outreach Performances
    Date and location to be announced
    Participants will perform chamber music and solo repertoire.

Tuition : $ 680 

  • Each group will have 6 coaching sessions with the faculty members from Concordia Chamber Academy.

  • Each group should arrange rehearsal times on their own and meet regularly to rehearse in one of the member's homes or any venue.
