Description
Join us for the 5th annual BCSD Student Film Festival! The screening of elementary student films will be held on Friday May 15th 2026 at the Seeger Theater at Beacon High School. The show starts promptly at 6:30 pm. Door open at 5:45 pm and filmmakers are encouraged to join us early for red carpet interviews before the show!
Film genres span everything from drama, comedy, and mystery, to stop motion, and documentary. Each short film is approximately 2 minutes or less, so you'll get the chance to see many great stories and different types of films. The technical savvy of our community's young filmmakers is outstanding.
As usual, we'll have film festival merchandise, a concession stand, a raffle, and a red carpet photo booth area in the lobby. Proceeds raised from this event go directly to the Foundation for Beacon Schools' fund for teacher grants, enrichment programming in Beacon's public schools, and of course, next year's film fest!
