2026 Christian Professionals in Student Development

This year’s conference theme, Planted for Purpose: From Seed to Strength, invites us to reflect on the meaningful, often unseen work we do each day. As student development professionals, we are planting seeds; investing in students, cultivating growth, and helping build campus communities rooted in care, resilience, and faith. While we may not always see the full impact of our efforts, we remain grounded in the truth that our work has lasting purpose. In the spirit of the saying, “We are planting seeds for trees whose shade we may never get to enjoy,” we are reminded not to lose heart. God is at work through us, strengthening communities that support students, meet their needs, and ultimately point them to Jesus.

We are pleased to welcome Amber Strozier, author of The Traveling Farmer, as our guest speaker. Amber will lead us through reflective practices, address barriers to planning and execution, and guide us in developing personal strategies for sustaining meaningful work without burnout.
