Welcome!

Field trips at Kuchta Farms combine agricultural education with exciting seasonal activities designed for students.

Each group will have scheduled times for their educational lesson, wagon ride, and lunch break while also having plenty of time to explore the farm at their own pace.

During their visit, students can enjoy open play in our Barn Yard area, visit the animals in GoatVille, navigate our mini “field trip” maze, try our beginner maze, or challenge themselves in our full-size corn maze. Our trips are designed to keep students active, engaged, and learning while creating a memorable fall experience!

Field Trip Pricing
Groups must have minimum of 12 children plus one chaperone

Standard Field Trip Experience
Includes all farm activities and educational lesson

  • $6.00 per student

  • $6.00 per parent/chaperone

  • $3.00 per teacher

Pumpkin Field Trip Experience
Includes all farm activities and educational lesson
Each student will be able to take home a small pumpkin

  • $8.00 per student

  • $6.00 per parent/chaperone

  • $3.00 per teacher

(Pumpkin add-on is only available for student admissions)

 

Payment:
Payment can be made as a single payment from the school or as individual payments, depending on what works best for your group. We accept cash, checks, and cards.

To help your visit run smoothly, we ask that payment is finalized upon arrival unless other arrangements have been made in advance (such as a purchase order/invoice that will be paid by the school after the trip).

Final Counts:
Please plan to provide a final student and chaperone count one week prior to your visit. We understand numbers may shift slightly, but having an estimate ahead of time helps us prepare for your group.

If you have any questions about pricing or payment options, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!

Lunch:
We do not have on-site food available during weekday Field Trips. You are welcome to bring packed lunches to enjoy during your scheduled lunch time. Picnic areas will be available for your group.
Please plan to clean up your area after eating to help keep the farm enjoyable for all guests.
If you have any special plans for lunch timing or needs, feel free to let us know in advance

Chaperones & Student Supervision:
Teachers and chaperones are responsible for supervising students at all times, including during scheduled activities and open exploration.
We recommend assigning small groups to each chaperone to help keep track of students throughout the visit.
Our staff will guide scheduled activities, but overall group management remains the responsibility of the school.

 

Weather Policy:
Field trips take place rain or shine.
In the event of severe weather, we will work with your group to adjust the schedule or discuss rescheduling options if necessary.
We recommend checking the forecast and dressing students appropriately for the day.
If you need to cancel/reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible.
