Practicing with Integrity – Ethics and Jurisprudence for Dental Professionals
Dental professionals are responsible for delivering patient care within established ethical guidelines and level regulations governing their practice. This course explores key ethical principles, professional conduct, and legal requirements for dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants. Additionally the course will cover the use of AI and patient recordings, as well as the use of social media in today’s environment.
Course Objectives – upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
· Differentiate between duties that may be delegated to dental assistants and hygienists.
· Identify duties that may be delegated to unlicensed dental assistants.
· Describe potential liabilities of violating dental practice rules.
· Discuss potential risks of utilizing AI and non-disclosure of recording to patients.

This course examines current concepts in preventive dentistry, focusing on evidence-based products designed to prevent caries, arrest early lesions, and promote remineralization.
Attendees will leave with a practical understanding of how to evaluate current research, make informed clinical decisions, and recommend preventive products that support long-term oral health across all age groups.
