Featuring Keynote Speaker: Miguel Alvarez. Miguel Alvarez was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Aluminum Flat Rolled Products and Metals Recycling Operations in September 2026. His responsibilities include leadership of the company’s strategic aluminum operations, an ancillary recycled aluminum deox-rod facility, and executive oversight of the company’s metals recycling business. Prior to that, Mr. Alvarez served as Senior Vice President, Aluminum Group and was responsible for leading the company’s strategic aluminum investments and an ancillary recycled aluminum deox-rod facility. Mr. Alvarez has also previously served as Senior Vice President, Metals Recycling and was responsible for leading Omni’s ferrous and nonferrous metals recycling operations, including marketing, trading, and logistics activities. Mr. Alvarez joined the company in 2019 as Senior Vice President, Southwest United States and Mexico and was responsible for the comprehensive business development and partnerships in the regions, encompassing both steel and recycled metals
