Description

You do not need to know anything about aircraft to visit Flight Works Alabama. You just have to be curious! Our exhibits are designed for all ages — children deciding what they want to be when they grow up and long-time aviation enthusiasts alike.

Inside Flight Works Alabama, you will find more than 40 hands-on exhibits where you can fly a cockpit simulator, design a paint scheme for a real aircraft, navigate a drone and see actual jet engine components up close.

In addition, Flight Works Alabama is also the only place in the United States where the public can take a guided tour of an Airbus Final Assembly Line. Tours take visitors to a fourth-floor viewing area overlooking the A320 production floor, where you can watch commercial aircraft be assembled right here in Mobile! (must be 10 years of age or older)
