30 West 68th StreetDo you like acting? Do you like singing? Do you want to be part of a beloved Stephen Wise tradition? You’d be a wonderful addition to the cast of our annual Purim spiel, featuring congregants of all ages and levels of talent!
This year’s spiel, “SPIELALOT: A Monty Python Megillah,” premieres on Erev Purim, March 2, 2026, and is inspired by “Monty Python’s Spamalot” — the hilariously irreverent Broadway hit based on the legendary comedy troupe’s classic sketches and films. Expect knights, coconuts and plenty of Shushan-shire silliness as we retell Esther’s story the Stephen Wise way!
Join us on Wednesday, December 3, at 7:15 p.m., to showcase your talents — sing a song, read a monologue, or just be your awesome self.
Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, December 10, at 7:15 p.m. Junior Spielers under 13 (grades 3–7) do not need to audition and will be asked to join rehearsals starting on Sunday, February 1, at 1:30 p.m. Sign them up now by emailing purim@swfs.org.
