Visitor Acknowledgment, Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
WARNING: By entering Alpaca Acres Farm and Fun (“Farm”), visitors acknowledge and agree to this notice in full, along with all farm policies (written or verbal).
Registration & Supervision- Tickets are required for all farm visitors; regardless of participation. All visitors must register at the farm store immediately upon arrival before exploring or using any farm facilities, amenities, or attractions. All minors must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Prohibited items- pets, smoking/vaping, alcohol, drugs, weapons, drones, and unapproved outside food. Photography & Consent- By entering the farm, you grant management permission to photograph or record anyone on the premises and to use those photos or videos for any lawful, unrestricted purpose, including marketing, social media, or promotional materials, without additional notice, permission, or compensation.
Assumption of Risk- Visitors understand that Alpaca Acres is both a working farm and an agritourism venue, and entering carries inherent risks, including but not limited to: Animals: Any animal may behave unpredictably, potentially causing injury or property damage; Health risks: Farm animals and the environment may carry diseases, proper hand washing is required after contact; Natural elements: Exposure to wild animals, snakes, bees, insects, and poisonous plants; Farm surfaces: Uneven, slippery, or natural terrain—exercise caution; Restricted areas: Fenced or out-of-bounds areas may be dangerous- stay in designated areas: farm store, parking lot, attractions area, and outside of alpaca viewing fence; Equipment & fire hazards: Farm equipment, campfires, and fire rings are dangerous and should not be touched; Attractions: Follow all posted and verbal instructions for safe use of attractions; Emergency care: Medical assistance may be limited or delayed; Others’ actions: Risk may arise from the behavior of others. Entering the farm is done voluntarily and entirely at your own risk.
Waiver, Indemnification & Release- By entering the farm, each visitor agrees to assume full responsibility for all risks of injury, death, property damage, or loss of any kind for themselves and for all minor children in their care; release and waive any claims against Alpaca Acres Farm and Fun, its owners, successors, and assigns for themselves and for all minor children in their care; and indemnify and hold harmless the farm and its personnel from any liability, claims, demands, or actions for themselves and for all minor children in their care, whether caused by ordinary negligence or otherwise. This waiver and release applies to all known and unknown risks associated with your visit.
