Indulge in an exclusive, adults-only evening in Vala’s apple orchard! Join us for a guided hard cider tasting featuring Vala's most exceptional farm-crafted ciders, perfectly paired with the experience of picking your own crisp apples.

Your evening begins at the U-Pick Apple Shed (adjacent to the Cider Mill), where our Ag Director will lead a scenic tractor ride through our picturesque orchard, sharing insights into Vala's apple cultivation in Nebraska. Upon arrival, our Orchard Hosts will welcome you with your first pour and introduce you to our curated selection of orchard-based hard ciders, including some exciting new releases, for a relaxed, self-paced tasting. As the sun sets over the orchard, enjoy the simple pleasure of harvesting ripe apples, unwinding by a cozy communal fire pit, a friendly game of cornhole, or a leisurely stroll through the beautiful scenery.

TICKET INCLUDES:

• Tractor Ride to the Orchard with a guided talk 

• Four 5 oz bottle pours of Vala’s exclusive orchard-based hard ciders

• Introduction and tasting notes on each of the ciders

• Drink Token for an additional 12oz cider pour (or a 5oz barrel aged cider pour); to be redeemed at one of the the orchard bars or at one of our cider locations across the farm 

• Vala’s Souvenir Cider Glass

• 2 lbs of Orchard Apples (¼ peck bag) to pick and take home

• Communal fire pit, corn hole and yard games, and photo ops 

• Non-Alcoholic Designated Driver ticket option includes 3 pours of sweet, non-alcoholic cider and a sweet cider drink token 

• Access to food and light snacks, available for pre purchase and during the event

LOCATION:

• Vala’s Apple Orchard, departing from the U-Pick Apple Shed (located near the Cider Mill)

TIME: 

• TBDpm - TBD pm: Hayracks will depart from the U-Pick Apple Shed every 20 minutes between TBDpm and TBDpm, with the last rack departing for the orchard at TBD pm. 

• The experience is at your-own-pace, typically lasting TBD

• Once you are finished with your tasting in the orchard, hayracks will periodically depart to bring guests back to the main farm, with the last rack departing at TBD pm. 

MORE INFORMATION:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to attend with proof of valid government issued photo ID for the cider tasting. 

• Access to food and light snacks, available for pre purchase and during the event

• Tickets for this event can be purchased online only. On-line tickets are delivered digitally via email. Tickets can be printed at home or displayed on your phone when you arrive.

• Tickets are only good for the event date of purchase.

• For your comfort and enjoyment, please wear comfortable shoes as the U-Pick Apple Shed is located on the opposite side of the farm from the Admissions entrance.

• Postponement Policy: This event is weather dependent and may be rescheduled due to heavy rain or inclement weather. Guests will get advanced notice by email if the event needs to be rescheduled. If you cannot make one of the rescheduled dates, please call the Vala’s office at 402-332-4200, and you will be refunded the amount you paid. We will work with you to reschedule your event at either one of the next events, if there are openings, or possibly during the first weekend in October.

• Cancellation Policy: Tickets for this event are NON-REFUNDABLE.
