Description
22 Brides is a band formed by sisters Carrie and Libby Johnson. Known for their story telling lyrics, lush harmonies and melodic, introspective Pop-Folkrock/Americana songs, they were signed to Universal/Zero Hour Records, released 3 critically acclaimed full length albums (22 Brides, Beaker and Demolition Day) and toured North America extensively. While the sisters went on to establish solo careers, they continue to perform and record. 22 Brides released "Beautiful Ones" in 2022, with proceeds going to the global non-profit ALTSO. Their latest single, "Wandering Soul" dropped in December 2024. The band is currently gearing up for releasing new music in 2026 and spring/summer touring!
Doors open at 7 pm and the concert begins at 7:30 pm. There is no opening act. The Sounding Board is located at 433 Fern Street, West Hartford at the Fiske Hall of the Universalist Church. Parking lot and venue are accessible.
