Event Concept
BIMA's 250 Years of Islam in America Educational Banquet will present the history of Islam in America through the lives, sacrifices, institutions, and contributions of Muslims who helped establish and preserve Islam on American soil.
The evening should not simply ask, “How long have Muslims been in America?”
It should ask:
Who were the Muslims who came before us? What did they build? What did they sacrifice? What did they leave behind? And what will our generation leave for those who come after us?
