Beautifully Hued will host its second annual girl's empowerment brunch on Saturday, October 7, 2023. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Green Island County Club located at 6501 Standing Boy Road in Columbus. Doors open at 10 am with Vending, Mingling, Selfies, and other activities. The brunch will begin at 11 a.m. sharp with breakout sessions, speakers, and a host of other empowering features. The Beautifully Hued Girls Empowerment Brunch is for girls ages 12 through 18 and will give attendees an opportunity to connect with girls in their community and be inspired to love themselves and work to create a better society.
Beautifully Hued was founded by 13-year-old Victoria Watson along with her mother Pamela Watson as a platform to promote diversity and inspire girls to love who they are. The highly anticipated empowerment brunch is one of their many efforts to push their mission and is slated to be insightful for all who attend. “The Beautifully Hued Girls Empowerment Brunch will have some really fun activities and guest speakers, and will be a great event in general,” said Victoria. “I’m really excited.” The brunch will be hosted by WTVM journalist Katrice Nolan and will feature various empowering guest speakers.
Beautifully Hued is a platform that educates, empowers, and inspires girls all over the world to love themselves. BH promotes high self-esteem, high self-confidence, and self-love, and embraces diversity and inclusivity. Through outreach initiatives and involving parents, Beautifully Hued provides a space for girls to learn and denounce stereotypes while displaying boldness and poise.
