Performing Arts of Woodstock is closing out the season with three delightful one-act plays by Thornton Wilder. In addition, it's a director's showcase, with three of our own board members directing each play!

Directed by Joe Bongiorno

Two babies, a lovelorn nursemaid, a harried mom and a very by the book police officer spend a pleasant afternoon in Central Park trying to understand each other and the world at large.

--- CAST ---

Zach Gibson as Officer Avonzino
Taylor Steward as Miss Willichik
Bill Solley as Tommy
Joan Craig as Mrs. Boker
Andrew Joffe as Moe

Directed by Richard Ralff

A married couple, Gabrielle and John, live in a small town. Except for John’s writer’s block, life seems straightforward;  but then complexities appear.  An injured maid, talk of a mystery and a treasure, a visit from a stranger… Who would have thought that things could get so complicated in such a small town?

--- CAST ---
Bethany Goldpaugh as Gabrielle
Hank Neimark as John
Bill Solley as Dr. Bumpas
Andrew Joffe as Mr. Graham

Directed by Lena Adams

"Queens of France" is a sly little play about people’s gullibility, and the certainty that there will always be someone just waiting to exploit that gullibility. In post-Civil War New Orleans, a canny lawyer has duped three women with his story of lost royal heirs and the need to acquire the (expensive) proofs of their rank. How does he do it?  We shall see.

--- CAST ---

Andrew Joffe - Monsieur Cahusac, the crafty lawyer
Jill Knell - Mademoiselle Marie-Sidonie Cressaux, an attractive woman
Bethany Goldpaugh - Madame Pugeot, a middle-class wife
Joan Craig - Madamoiselle Poitevin, a spinster schoolmistress
