Course Overview
This 3-Day Braiding Masterclass, designed exclusively to focus on BRAIDING, is the perfect course for beginners with little or no braiding experience to brush up their techniques & creativity. In this course, we take you through the understanding and the foundation of braiding techniques. Our distinguished stylist with over 8 years of professional experience will personally guide you through every step to ensure you grasp every step of the training.
What you'll learn
1. How to part hair for braiding
- 3 simple hair parting techniques - learn parting sizes and styles for braids and cornrows
2. How to start basic braid/twist and cornrows (As a beginner, you need to get comfortable handling your client's natural hair first, before you can have hair extension add-on control. There is nothing to worry about, so you're here to become a confident braider.
- Simple grip & braid foundation
- Rubberband grip method
- Add Hair Extensions
- Two Strand-twist using natural hair
- Cornrows using natural hair and 3 easy ways to add hair extension to cornrows
3. We offer Hands-on braiding practice to you with useful tips and simple techniques for hair braiding
- The dos and don'ts of hair braiding
- Perfect braid grips
- Hair tucks and fine finishing like a Pro!
Tools & Requirements
We will provide all the tools you need for this workshop, and they will become yours at no extra cost after the sessions.
The tools included are: (VALUE $159)
- Mannequin head with human hair
- Tripod mannequin head stand
- Hair clips
- Rat tail comb
Refreshments will be provided for all sessions. Additionally, video recordings of the sessions covered will be provided to all participants via YouTube.
Date & Sessions
Friday, 29thof November to Sunday, 1st December, 2024
There will be 2 sessions per day (covering 3 days at a stretch, with each session lasting 4 hours). Participants are required to register for 1 session per day for the 3 days.
Sessions
10am to 2pm (Morning)
5pm to 9pm (Evening)
Cost
$350 (+GST) This includes, the training, mannequin head and stand and accessories, refreshments, and Certificate.
We require a $50 deposit after booking and the balance on the first day of the class.
