We are looking forward to celebrating the 31st Anniversary of the Big Stone Health Care Foundation Annual Gala with with over 350 of our incredible colleagues, friends, and family! Planning and hosting this event is always a joy, made even better by the sheer enthusiasm and enjoyment shown by our amazing community.
The Gala began thirty years ago in a living room, where a group of women planned what was then a “friend-raiser.” Over the years, the Gala Committee has stayed true to that founding spirit—and it’s been key to the event’s lasting success. From the local armory to the Matador and now the Sioux Historic Pavilion, the Gala has evolved, with each committee adding its own special touch. One thing remains constant: without the dedication of volunteers over the past three decades, this event simply wouldn’t be what it is today. To all who came before us—we offer a heartfelt thank you!
Cloaked in Crimson & Shadows is an evening where mystery meets meaning. Rich crimson hues and soft shadows set the stage for an unforgettable night of elegance, intrigue, and purpose. Beneath the glow of candlelight and velvet tones, guests are invited to step beyond the ordinary and into a world where stories unfold, connections deepen, and generosity shines. This will be an evening to remember while making a powerful impact on rural healthcare.
The celebration kicks off at 4:30 p.m. on April 18th with a Social Hour sponsored by Hasslen Construction and Lakewood Supper Club. Guests have a chance to mingle, grab refreshments, find their tables, and browse an exciting lineup of Silent and Live Auction items.
The event is THE talk of the year as the entertainment, program, decorations, food, and fun is always over the top & something you've just never seen before!
