Spring is just around the corner and with that, we look forward to the start of a new growing season here at Black Birch Vineyard.
To help celebrate, come join us for our 3rd annual Vintner’s Dinner this March where we will highlight Black Birch estate wines that are not yet bottled or released, carefully paired with an amazingly elegant and divine menu from Gretchen Hardy of The Porch Catering out of Brattleboro.

Starters
A delectable arrangement of local cheese, cured meats and fresh fruit paired with a refreshing glass of Bloom
First Course [Paired with 2021 Estate Grüner Veltliner]
A choice of
- Vegan Arancini with peas and marinara sauce, cashew cream sauce and micro basil
- Scallop Crudo with wasabi ginger aioli, edible flowers, and watermelon radish
Salad Course [Paired with 2021 Estate Traminette]
- Roasted Buttercup squash topped with a fennel apple slaw, shallot vinaigrette, maple syrup and arugula pistachio crumble
Entree [Paired with 2020 Cabernet Franc]
A choice of
- Roasted Cauliflower Puttanesca with olives, capers, sun-dried tomatoes, white beans, lots of herbs and sauteed spinach with walnut crumble and sauteed asparagus and lemon (GF, Vegan)
- Pan-Seared Trout over celeriac & parsnip puree with roasted carrots, almond parsley salsa verde & pickled currants
- Duck Confit over our house fennel sausage cassoulet, sauteed asparagus, grapefruit fennel salad and sour cherry port sauce
Dessert [Pierce Brothers coffee and tea bar]
A choice of
- Chocolate Pot De Creme with Coconut Cream and berries - Vegan, GF
- Blood Orange Citrus Cake with olive oil ice cream and candied orange
