On Sunday, November 2nd (11am–6pm), the Menagerie invites you to an interactive cabinet of curiosities at the Miners Foundry in Nevada City. Explore a highly curated collection of 50 extraordinary vendors offering everything you never knew you needed—bones, bugs, taxidermy, medical specimens, bath & beauty, eerie art, peculiar antiques, unique fine jewelry, and curious décor.

Taxidermy Mouse Workshop
Curious about taxidermy? Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics of mouse taxidermy in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. No prior experience is necessary. We provide all tools, materials, and guidance. By the end of class, you’ll take home your very own taxidermy mouse creation. This class should run 2.5 hrs in length.
Beetle Pinning Workshop
Discover the art and science of insect preservation in this one-hour hands-on beetle pinning class. Perfect for beginners, this workshop requires no prior experience. We provide all the tools, materials, and step-by-step instruction you need. You’ll learn proper techniques for preparing and pinning beetles, and you’ll leave with a beautifully mounted specimen to add to your collection.

Madagascan Comet Moth
This beginner friendly class includes 11x14" pre-frame, pinning kit, with handwritten species tag, and digital class access. Note: a mix of males and females will be provided for class and randomly given; they are both HUGE and gorgeous! (Both male and female photos attached)1.5 hr class.
12+ w/adult consent. All materials provided by Silvermoon Curiosities. (SHELFISH WARNING: Some with shelfish allergies may experience similar reactions with moths: gloves will be provided if needed.
