5/25 - Pasquotank County High School All-County Team vs. River City Skippers

The River City Skippers become the newest team in the Old North State League fleet. Along the banks of Knobbs Creek, the Skippers played their inaugural season in the summer of 2023 at Knobbs Creek Park. Hailing from Elizabeth City, known as the Harbor of Hospitality, the Skippers mascot is inspired by the distinct coastal culture of the town and proximity to the Coast Guard station just down the road. Ball players will also recognize the term ‘Skipper’ as they often refer to their coaches and captains., The Skippers are hoping to come into Elizabeth City and contribute to the wonderful community.

The River City Skippers are a summer collegiate wood bat baseball team participating in the Old North State League. The Skippers play their season during the months of May, June, and July.
