Description
This original production, written by Derek Kowal and Luke McGuire, is set during the 1980’s. When a time capsule is cracked open in Florence, a mysterious item inside points the way to the long lost treasure of Jesse James. Cassidy Croft, up and coming historian, joins forces with glamorous heiress, Cordelia Cashwell, on a multi-state race against a disgraced archaeologist (Cassidy’s ex-boyfriend), along with his team of documentarians, to follow the clues and discover what happened to the lost treasure of Jesse James. Little do they know, the treasure is protected by a shadowy group willing to go to any length, and wear any disguise, to keep their secrets hidden.
Join our hero, Hånk Bolo, and and heroine, Cassidy Croft, and their dueling teams including a crackpot inventor, radio DJ's, a carpet salesman-taxidermist, a new age guru, and a pair of spoiled rotten trust fund babies on a twisting tale filled with museum heists, car chases, and the legendary caves of Ponca Hills as we discover that “Some secrets wear cowboy hats.”
