Share We are comfortably nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains 1 mile outside of the village of Bluemont. From plow to pint, our focus is small batch hand crafted beer from fresh ingredients grown on our family farm, Great Country Farms. The Brewery is a natural " fermentation" extension to our 400-acre farm. The Zurschmeide family has been farming in Loudoun County for over 40 years. Our name, “Dirt Farm” pays homage to our farming heritage that spans three generations. We are grateful to work and play surrounded by our own family and many friends. We welcome you to bring yours & slow down a bit in the country.
Description
Beat the winter blues with our 6th annual Luau and Pig Feast! The Taproom will be decorated like your favorite tropical oasis and you might just forget about the cold…but dress warmly to ensure that you keep toasty!
Indulge in our famous pig roast and all the fixin’s, plus the release of two tropical craft beverages to really get you in the mood. We will be releasing our annual Pineapple IPA, brewed with tons of pineapple for a bold tropical flavor and our mouthwatering Pina Colada Hard Seltzer!
Our fireplace and bonfire will be outside to keep you toasty warm. But, as Bruce says, “no bad weather, just bad gear!” So dress for a winter day on the mountain while you enjoy a little taste of summer. And, of course, leis for everyone!
$29. Ticket includes:
( 1) a plate1) a plate of roast pig with curry BBQ sauce, coconut & pineapple fried rice, Asian slaw, baked beans, and pineapple upside down cup
(1) Swag bag with Food Tix, Lei, Branded Stainless Steel Klean Kanteen Pint Cup
*beer is not included in the ticket price.
Pig Feast will be available from 12-4pm.
FAQs:
Q: What if I buy a ticket and change my mind? Or can't go?
A. We need to ensure that, at the least, Dirt Farm is compensated for the food, time, and event extras. There will be no refunds available. Why not pass the ticket to a friend?
Q: What if it snows?
A: Tickets will roll over to Feb 4 and we will make the call week of (just in case).
Q: Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
A: Nope! Just let us know your name at check-in!
Q: Do I have to have a ticket to come to the brewery?
A: No, but you do need a ticket for the feast. Our Kitchen Workshop will be available with additional food items and Pineapple IPA on tap for all!
