Three women, one insufferable boss, and a plan to get even. Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton (in her scene-stealing film debut) play coworkers pushed to the edge by their sexist, credit-stealing manager — until a series of hilarious mishaps lands him tied up in his own home while they secretly run the office their way.
It's whip-smart, laugh-out-loud funny, and surprisingly satisfying: turns out the workplace runs a lot better without him. Add Dolly's iconic title song and three leads with electric chemistry, and you've got a comedy classic that still lands over 40 years later.
