Description
Come experience the premier party and performance event that always sells out and is always the last Saturday in January! DESERT STORIES XV — that's right — the 15th production of this spectacular event produced and envisioned by the Hi-Desert Cultural Center. Featured by the L.A. Times, Desert Sun, CV Independent, and more, this popular signature event for the region is breaking new ground as it is being held in the Hi-Desert Cultural Center's new expansive and state-of-the-art Yucca Valley Visual & Performing Arts Center. Surrounded by fantastic mandala-themed artwork and kaleidoscopes, and with double the restrooms and all seats reserved with large comfortable seating (no more folding chairs), this year will be the best yet! There is an exciting line-up of new eclectic artists who are sure to keep you on the edge of your seat as they tell their stories and play their music in a multi-media extravaganza. Performers include Brent Lewis, Michael McCall, Matthew Patrick, Patrick Hasson, Lori Herbel, Steffi Sutton, Bonnie Schwartz, Francis Moss, Debbie Bernardini, and a few surprises whose names will all be added soon! Come hear more true-life experiences and a few tall tales from some of the Desert’s best storytellers—and some special guests. An opening party with a no-host bar, music, and complimentary finger-licking food begins at 6:00 pm. Performances begin around 7:00 pm. And the party continues after the performances until 11:00 for those who want to stay and mingle. There is an intermission featuring our famous massive vegan chocolate fountain and dessert bar. A full bar remains open for the duration of the event. Avoid a credit card processing fee by purchasing tickets via cash or check in person at the Box Office. Children not admitted. RATED: R – adult themes and strong language.
Elite seats have bistro tables. Preferred and general seats do not have bistro tables. Food and drinks allowed at the seats. Did we say no more folding chairs? :-) Lots more room for everyone!
