Taste new wines before anyone else.
I have spent the last two years working with my team to create a new collection of wines. They are truly outstanding and honestly my best work yet. I want your opinion. I am looking for a handful of people to join me for one night only to taste through the entire collection before it is released.
I hope you’ll join me at an intimate wine focus group. I am hosting a "ONE NIGHT ONLY" wine tasting event where will unveil all of the new wines we are about to release at one time. This is your first and ONLY chance to get a sneak peek at what is to come. I am opening up the storage lockers and bringing out samples for you to try, fall in love with, and pre-order.
What you will do at this PRIVATE event.
- You will taste several of the new wines before they are released.
- You will rate them all and give your tasting notes, food pairing ideas, and thoughts on the wines. We will use this data when we release the wines to the public in 2021.
- You will have to chance to buy wine that is discounted before it is released.
- You will be able to be a part of the launch of the entire 2018 collection of wines.
- You will get to hang out with Jason & Sofia McClain

What is a Wine Future?
Once a year, wineries across the globe open their cellars for a unique sale: Wine Futures. Top customers, journalists, and wholesale buyers alike are given the exclusive opportunity to taste and purchase wine before it’s bottled when it is still aging in barrel. I think that this opportunity should be awarded to our customers as well as. I think that EVERYONE should have a chance to take a "sneak peek" and give their thoughts on the wine before it is released.
How these Wine Futures Work
You will have the chance to pre-order these wines at a discounted price and receive your bottle before anyone else!
Wines & Futures Pricing
The wines in a normal wine future are only available directly from the winery. A regular future means that you tasting barrel samples and have a chance to buy wine at a discount before it is bottled. I just will not be releasing them until sometime in 2021. The prices of the wines are discounted for this night only if you should decide to pre-order wines. Wine club discounts will also apply. :-)
When & Where
This Barrel Tasting and 2018 Wine Futures Preview event is invitation-only, intimate, and with Jason and Sofia McClain. This tasting is Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 7:00 pm. RSVP Required. There is a tasting fee per person and a reduced fee for wine club members to taste all new wines. The event will be held at McClain Cellars in Laguna Beach.
Things to Know - The minimum order is 3 bottles per wine. The prices of the wine AT RELEASE will be higher than they are tonight. So if you want a chance to have wines that NO ONE ELSE HAS.... this is your golden opportunity. One thing to remember is that this is a limited "invitation only" event. RSVPs are opened first to Founder wine club members, then to all other wine club members, and then to the general public. So be sure to RSVP ASAP in order to reserve your spot.
