Footy is Back!!! Thanks to everyone who played in our Tigers Footy Tipping Comp last season, please join us again this year. Congratulations to Chrisso who won last year, it was another close fight to the end. Chrisso now has his name on our Trophy along with $390 and bragging rights!. Dodge came in second ($235) with Harry in third ($155). Join up again and get your tips in before Round 1. Happy Tipping! Cost is $30, with all money collected being divided between the top 3.

We are one of the founding clubs of the Illawarra Rugby League, first established in 1911. As a community club, we are proud of our coal mining roots and of Helensburgh's working class culture.
Over the years, Helensburgh has been a breeding ground and home of many players to go on and play in the NRL or the equivalent competition of the time. In more recent seasons, the Helensburgh Women - Tiger Lillies - have also progressed to the NRLW ranks. Of both our men and women, who have furthered their careers, we are extremely proud!
We are equally as proud of everyone that pulls on a jersey, coaches, volunteers, sponsors and supports to help make the Helensburgh Tigers one of the greatest community clubs in Australia.
In 2020, The Helensburgh Rugby League Club will field five teams in the Illawarra Competition, considered one of the toughest leagues in the country. We are made up of our men's First, Second and Third Grade teams. Whilst our Tiger Lillies field both a senior women's and Ladies League Tag side.
We welcome you to bring the family to one of our home matches at Rex Jackson Oval. Our match day experience is widely considered one of the best in the League - large parochial crowds, a big hill for the kids and a BBQ and bar to cater for any need. Join the Tigers family.
