Description

Join the Mississippi Center for Public Policy for a distinguished evening of celebration at A Celebration of Mississippi Success. This gala will gather Mississippi’s leading voices in policy, business, and public service to honor the progress made in advancing conservative principles across our state.

Hosted at the elegant Country Club of Jackson, the evening will feature a keynote address from Tate Reeves, the 65th Governor of Mississippi and Rich Lowry, Editor-in-Chief of National Review and one of the most influential conservative thinkers of our time. Guests will enjoy a refined dinner, thought-provoking conversation, and the opportunity to support the vital work of MCPP in promoting free markets, individual liberty, and limited government in Mississippi.

Tate Reeves is the 65th Governor of Mississippi and a proven conservative leader focused on protecting taxpayers, expanding educational opportunity, and growing careers across the state.

Since taking office, Governor Reeves has led Mississippi through multiple crises—including historic natural disasters and a global pandemic—while reforming broken state agencies and restoring public trust.

A former state treasurer and two-term lieutenant governor, he has made history as the first Republican to serve in both roles and is widely recognized for his fiscal discipline, including balancing budgets, replenishing the Rainy Day Fund, and delivering the largest tax cut in state history.

A product of Mississippi public schools, Governor Reeves is a champion for education reform, committed to making Mississippi a national leader in student achievement and teacher excellence.

Rich Lowry is the editor-in-chief of National Review, the nation’s premier conservative journal. He was selected to lead NR by its founder, William F. Buckley. Under Lowry, NR has grown from a print magazine into a vibrant digital media company. He is co-host of the popular weekly podcast, “The Editors.”  He writes a syndicated column, which can be found in the New York Post, and appears regularly on FOX News and Newsmax, as well as, WABC. Lowry is the author of “The Case for Nationalism,” “Lincoln Unbound,” and “Legacy: Paying the Price for the Clinton Years. He began his career as a research assistant for Charles Krauthammer.
