A FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS: A Joyful Gospel and Klezmer Concert Celebrating the Holiday Season

Featuring the UCLA student Klezmer Ensemble and the African American Music Ensemble

Directed by Janice Mautner Markham of Mostly Kosher and Dr. Diane White-Clayton, composer, singer and leader of the BYTHAX Gospel Ensemble. 

This holiday concert will include music from the Klezmer and Gospel traditions as well as Hanukkah and Christmas music. No charge but registration required for security purposes.

 Students and directors are part of the Ethnomusicology Department of the UCLA Herb Alpert Department of Music.
