June 14, 16, 17- A Fresh Step: Body movement

3-day Workshops will be held every Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 11:00 am- 12:00 pm at the Museum of Play, 716 14th St, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.

Description: This dance class will provide the fun and unique opportunity for kids to learn how to create rhythmic patterns with their bodies.

Using a music-based approach and accented cadences, students will learn the relationship of syllables and rhythm as a way to engage language building, physical fitness, and coordination. At the end of this series students will be able to create new accents, and expand their overall rhythm and language comprehension skills. Geared toward rising 4th- 8th graders.

Class limit: 25 children

Facilitator: Dennis Garner, teaching artist with the Cultural Trust

Cost: FREE with Museum Admission. Camp admission is an included perk of Memberships!
