Our mission is to bring artistically excellent English-language theatre to English learners and native speakers alike; to provide meaningful international cultural experiences; to facilitate cultural exchange; and to foster arts appreciation and artistic expression in students of all ages. ETD is committed to supporting the already vital and growing international cultural landscape of Düsseldorf through the arts. We achieve our vision by collaborating with international artists; programming a diverse season that includes new and developing work from local playwrights as well as European premieres of international plays; and by empowering our community through theatre workshops for adults and children.

Actor and comedian, English Theatre Düsseldorf's Mike McAlpine, presents his fretful, compulsive and hilarious escapades as an Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA).

Mike is a well-travelled journeyman on the international tribute circuit with 30 years of ETA experience. A wealth of passion for the King of Rock'n'Roll but none of the physical likeness provide Mike with plenty of opportunity to observe from the sidelines and bring you, the viewer, his scathing, heartfelt and comical conclusions. Let's rock'n'roll!
