A Study in Limitation at Tanto: Wrapped & Grateful 📚🍸✨
Join us for an intimate, seated evening at Tanto, made for meaningful conversation, beautiful cocktails, and a look back at the year in books before it closes.
This time we’re exploring Tanto’s new menu, 三: A Study in Limitation. Every cocktail is built on just three ingredients, like Pear · Almond · Blue Cheese or Lychee · Rose · Sherry. The drinks fall into three moods: Soft & Light, Carbonated & Luminous, and Bold & Adventurous. The idea is simple: when you’re limited to three, every choice has to count.
We’re taking that idea to our bookshelves. As the year winds down, we’re reflecting on the stories that shaped our 2026 and the books we’re most grateful for.
Your Reading Wrapped: At your seat, you’ll find a 2026 Reading Wrapped card to fill out over your first drink. It asks for your top three reads, the book that wrecked you, the one that didn’t live up to the hype, and your reading personality this year. Then compare cards with your table. You may be surprised how much you have in common.
The Gratitude Swap: This is a required book swap, so each guest must bring a book to exchange. This month, bring a book you’re grateful for: one that shaped you, comforted you, or arrived at exactly the right time. At check-in, you’ll write a short thank-you note to tuck inside, so whoever takes it home also learns why it mattered. Wrapping paper will be available if you’d like to keep it a “blind date.”
Guests will be seated together so the table feels natural and engaging from the moment you arrive. Whether you come with a friend or on your own, expect a space that feels easy, elevated, and genuinely welcoming.
Think three-ingredient cocktails, a year’s worth of stories, and a book that comes home with a note inside.
