Description

“If you’re a Muslim, out of strength and dignity, I ask you to exit this room immediately.”

Despite the call for unity at an interfaith event at Manhattan's City College of New York, an imam's outburst on the importance of adhering to Sharia law prompted 100 Muslim students to walk out.

Illya Bratman, Executive Director of Hillel at Baruch College, will share his firsthand account of the incident in conversation with Rabbi Sam Natov.

Along with Hillel students, he will discuss the current climate across several New York City college campuses and explore how our community can support Jewish students and stand against antisemitism on campus.

Followed by audience Q&A.
