🎶 Mass & Concert – Monday, March 17 at Our Lady of Angels Church 🎶
Join us for a joyous St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Our Lady of Angels Church! We begin with the 11:45 AM Mass honoring St. Patrick, Bishop, followed by a traditional Irish music concert that will fill your heart with the lively and soulful sounds of Ireland.
This special performance will feature the exceptional talents of Niall Mulligan (fiddle & piano), Ann Marie Acosta (piano, piano accordion, tin whistle), and Julia Cassidy (vocals).
🎻 Niall Mulligan, a native of County Antrim now residing in Long Island, is a former champion step dancer and longtime performer with RIVERDANCE. His music is filled with energy, tradition, and the joyful spirit of Ireland.
🎼 Ann Marie Acosta, based in Rockaway Beach, NY, is a master of piano, piano accordion, and tin whistle, bringing warmth and depth to every tune.
🏆 Both Niall and Ann Marie are All-Ireland Champion musicians dedicated to passing on Irish musical traditions to future generations. They are also deeply involved in Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, an organization that preserves and promotes Irish music, song, dance, and language worldwide.
🎤 Julia Cassidy, a former member of the Brooklyn Youth Chorus, contributed her voice to the Grammy-nominated album “Black Mountain Songs” and to Irish singer-songwriter Glen Hansard’s album “Rhythm and Repose.” She has performed on world-renowned stages, including Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, and Carnegie Hall. Today, she continues to share her musical talents as a cantor here at Our Lady of Angels.
