A Tribute to Nurses Presented by RPG

Description

Since before 2020 nurses have chosen to go headfirst into situations that the majority of us would run away from. With the pandemic they were put to the test even further, many beyond anything they ever expected they were signing up for when they first went to nursing school. These individuals put their lives on the line for us each and every day and deserve to be honored.

Come join us for a Tribute to Nurses presented by RPG at Abe & Jake's Landing in historic downtown Lawrence as we take the afternoon to recognize these amazing individuals in our own community. Lunch will be provided by RPG and speakers such as our own Mayor Shipley, administrators from LMH, local nurses, and other city leaders will share their own stories and their thanks.

We hope to honor these brave individuals as we celebrate National Nurses Day together.

$30 for general public. $20 for nurses (proof of nurse status will need to be provided at the door.)
